Sonnet to Yvonne Sensing (from apoetseye)

Hearty proffered greets then to friend Yvonne
We bid you hale and hearty welcome dear
We want to see your work than have you gone
My lovely friend you have nothing to fear
We are ever the joking rowdy bunch
Sometimes we will swear and be very base
But you will come to like us I've a hunch
For where is there sage gal found in this place?
So come and share Yvonne we love you so
We give our souls full well to our fine craft
And want to read your stuff to learn and grow
And please my dear one do not think us daft
Yvonne is welcome and very much loved
Do not yourself in our corner be shoved
