Sonnet To A Lost Love

Countless miles, how far you are!
At eventide, gazing the starry sky,
I wish to see your guardian angel
Come unto me--to sing...and fly.
Dulcinea, did you say, I have to wait
Till all the morrows grow darker
And--the constellation aboon disappear?
That, for me, is not just and fair.
Yestreen's world, now is shaped
Sans "all puerile and wretched beliefs,"
Because my trip to Destiny is ended.
Love transforms, like clouds to rain...
Making sleepless nights--not in vain,
For death on you is birth regained.
