Sometimes You Breathe Me In

Exhale my demensions I implore-
You spare me from what is my shame
The private romantic delusion
Like a seraphs' fiery flame

The blush of my cheek is misleading
The gloss in my eye misbehaves
For the sake of proper departure
They ebb and flow as the waves

The daring proof is upon me
Strong as the mouth of the grave
Full of merciless pity
That longs to steal all I gave

I'd martyr myself to the heavens
Sell my grace for a kiss
Among the fallen i'd hunger
And live off my last reckless wish

Bind up my shame in your anger
Exhale my soul as you breathe
Give me the last supplication
And heal the wounds of my grief.
