Sometimes

Sometimes I sit and think about the times,
When I was yours and you were mine.
My heart and soul, I gave to you,
But you took it from me, and ripped it in two.

Sometimes I sit and think about the days,
But now its just no longer the same.
What happened to the love that we once shared?
The days when I thought you really cared.

Sometimes I sit and think about the nights,
When I cried for you , but did nothing because of fright.
Now you've moved on, with someone new,
But my love for you is still strong and true.

Sometimes I sit and think, about the love I gave to you,
Now I'm alone and don't know what to do.
One of these days, I'll learn to cope,
But now all I can do, is sit and hope
