Something Happy This Way Comes

Something happy this way comes:
to up-turn the pouting lip, to give a jump-rope skip.

Something scary this way comes:
to disrupt the routine way, to stir-up mad dismay.

Something friendly this way comes:
to arrest the lonely heart, to affection impart.

Something crazy this way comes:
to amaze the stable mind, to past beliefs unbind.

Something lovely this way comes:
to kindle the fading flame, to hot passion reclaim.

Something ugly this way comes:
to repulse the refined eye, to circulate a lie.

Something kindly this way comes:
to comfort the forsaken, to restore what's taken.

Something evil this way comes:
to entice the wayward soul, to circumvent control.

Something simple this way comes:
to present the common truth, to manifest fine couth.

Something complex this way comes;
to unfold the mystery, to display majesty.
