Socks

Full of compassion they snuggle me sweet !
Oh how my worries fade as my souls grow warm,
Ever delightful ! Yet another treat !
Of life itself; what I pocess,

And I peer to witness the rotting decay,
Where lies a man; folly bearded,
For his eyes gleam of days; so hearty we pray,
As heart and heart amend like one,

I see the weary boy
Whom became a gentle man,
And sulking; died of joy,
With a abondoned heart,

We converse the thanking of socks,
Till the whisper of faint; farewell,
From the man who never talks,
Oh still ! I see him within !
