So What Is This Thing Called Love?
Love is kind, gentle and great! What is this
thing that causes our hearts to break? Love
is honest, pure and true! What is this thing
that makes us feel blue? Love reaches out,
searches out and love will last! What is
this thing that makes us feel so bad? Love
is sharing, caring and it is grand! What is
this thing that leaves its brand? Love will
not strike out nor will it cut! What is this
thing that pierces our guts? Love will give
in and surrender! What is this thing that
shred us into splinters? Love will say I'm
sorry when you're wrong! What is this thing
that allows hate to be so strong? Love
forgives and forgets the pains of the past!
What is this thing that lashes out and blast?
Love can't be bought and love can't be sold!
So what is this thing called love that
destroys your soul?
