Skin and Bark

As a stream trickles down
Warm mossy green
So my eyes
Do steam and steam
They steam as does
This misty land
This land that drinks
Of my dripping hand
It's fog provokes
Such provocative thoughts
Thoughts of love
Of leaves and locks
The box holds all
These things within
It's tender now thinning
And thinning so thin
What I once knew
Of my skin and bark
Has become quite silent
Still and dark
