Skeletal Prism

Her pale white exterior shell that cups her organs, is nothing but a costume disguised as a human being
Within this shell that cups her organs, is a trapped little girl searching for her escape
Sad and alone, she desperately lurks for a cure for her disease that's eating her alive
Her heart aches for a boy on the outside of this skeletal prism that is consuming her
The boy loves her deeply, but is frightened of harming her further
The little girl loves him immensely, but is doubting her beauty
Her searches of escape from her shell are at a high
The boy says three deadly, yet beautiful words for her release
He whispers, “I love you.”
She smiles as the words flow sweetly, “I love you too.”
