Simple and Sweet

Keep it simple and sweet
that's what she tells me
There is but flattery
where the heart should be
Not in overdrawn
exhausting words
The meaningful meaninless
that goes unheard
Touch her soul
her mind will follow
To test her intellect
proves myself shallow
For she greatly surpasses
all Godly creations
She understands all
of my worldly formations
Though my best of actions
require very few words
She says simple and sweet
So I'll just say, I love her
