Shut Them Doors On Me

They want to shut the doors on me
How can I knock again
I can't come in
We just dealing with strong winds
That try to knock me over
Thinking I'm going to lay them tears
On a mothers shoulder
It's over.
That can be questionable
Cause my the opportunity is incredible
2014 a year so editable
I'm the best editor
Elevate myself to a boss
No need for a elevator.
Surfing on the internet
See I can get it in other ways
They want to drop the bomb on me
Like I'm on that battle field night and day
Trying to reach my dreams it all takes money.
I feel like I'm coming short and if the end is coming
No help involved, to make something real
Still with my head high keep it there and sealed.
I regroup my ideas no disputes appealed
Let them close the gate
I'll make it in either way
I am a leader I'll lead the way
Proceed knowing I am great.

The topics I write about are very diverse, so are the poetry styles I apply. I started writing poetry in high school in 05. I had written some poetry during class and showed some of my classmates who enjoyed it! I then was chosen to have my poetry in the school newspaper for each month! I done a lot of my work in the library. I met a woman who i showed my work to that worked there, and she said she knew a man that works on the radio! Then i was able to read two poems off the radio. A news reporter who appeared on the station as well decided to do a report on me and I've been writing ever sense. :) If Anybody want to friend request me on Facebook feel free too! Just look up Jon Otano I should be easy to find! :) more…
