She breaks day

House finally quiet,
Been asleep for hours
Night still waving star-studded wands
The world is dark and moonlit
I'm swirling silken dreams
Until baby wakes suddenly, wails
And breaks the rose-coloured glass
Sunlight spills into the world
As I watch her opening and closing
Fists, grasping the new day
