Shatters Beneath The Splashes

I watch that single drop of rain trickle down the
 broken glass

In which the image is sustained from being
 shattered.

Slowly from which it started merges with another
and the rain does not stop.

Now not one but two drops conjoin as that sharp
 edge cuts inward.

Soon to be set apart as room runs out I stretch
forth my hand waiting for a miracle

only to be succeeded with it slipping between my
 fingers.

The glass falls, the rain drops and it shatters
 beneath the splashes.
