Seven Sins,
I'm not exactly the typical user,
Nor am I as clean as a whistle,
I'm not a morbid abuser,
Nor as rough as a thistle.
I'm a typical swine,
Yet I'm as elegant as a swan,
I like to think I'm rather fine,
But I can't keep this lazy for long.
I'm each of every sin,
I don't take pride in that fact,
I hide my shame behind my large satisfied grin,
As I try to conceal the pact.
I must admit I do thrive for passion,
I take love for granted,
And lust is my greatest fashion;
And this, I do find rather enchanted!
I'm a pig; I'm a boar,
I must have the largest feast,
I don't need little; I need more and more,
And this gluttony is making me a beast.
I'm as lazy as the typical sloth,
I'm laying there pretending to be royal,
Not needing much but the single cloth;
To cover me up, and never really thanking people enough for been so loyal.
Though I do confess,
I brew and I boil;
And all of this unneeded stress,
Sets my mind to true wrath and toil.
Though the last sin I have; ain't so bad,
I take pride in myself, and in the things that I do,
Some people think it's rather sad;
Perhaps a bit conceited, but that's all that I ever knew.
