Serene

My inspiration
Let me go to rest these bones
You held me through my life span
Now let me go into simplicity
So I may remain aloft
And place an embargo on my adversity
As I confront words of discouragement
On passion's incline
But I will never be repressed
By oppression and error
By the sound of wind's hollow
Or seduction of the eerie brook
It must be the quaint and exact
That is extracted rule by rule
Line over line
Painted by numbers
To cast a dare upon sacrifice
Is to live once upon a time
Is to live
My eternity
