Seek Wisdom From This Distant Object
Searching the vast heavens above and seeking a connection
to a single pure thought which has brought earthly birth
lividly peering out upon and into the mists and mysteries
cast off by weight of blissless desire and sordid design.
Caught weaponless and void of the power of and for war
your visions circling the true gift of creations thoughts
the souls of mortally decrepit human educated minds are
lost entirely in broken schemes of sacrilegious frights.
A conscious being thus dismembered forgets its powers
and loses focus as does the common moral compass of the
larger society to which it is so deathly tied and bound
bringing a life's journey, pictures from an unholy abyss.
From a distance comes an object that promises clarity and
deliverance from the toil of our bare and misguided lives
touching a point in each of us with its wisdom showing
all truthful beings how the wickedly wise serpent dies.
