Sedative's Seduction

Time's an analgesic that slips in veins,
high wire situations forever crash,
now I've hit the crazy breakers on shore,
and all that is found is another door,
closed, I open the sky's scars to wild cries,
null and void, life's a crutch, I want to fly.

Crystalline powder makes love to sweet pain,
I'll need to manufacture some cold cash,
once you let in the magic, there's no cure
for you'll get used to its tattered decor,
a whirlwind in between truth and dark lies,
blown through emotions while waiting to die.

You'd better turn the other way tonight,
I'm going to shatter the face of midnight,
there's a million lines and all of them white,
this time I am going to get it right,
a sedative's seduction has a bite
of imagination - I see the light.

Stuff your pity that swirls in the brain's drain,
wave goodbye to me as I make a splash,
don't shed a tear as I cackle and soar,
just smile as my dead body hits the floor,
another fool who thought he was streetwise,
another captive of heroin's sigh.
