Sea in my eyes

I can feel the abandonment of self stirring within.
Not a whole lot of anything of any relevance left inside.
A stray thought swims through the sea of my mind.
Clutching at a life preserver in hopes of not going under.
Storm clouds and rising tides seen in the depths of my eyes.
Any glimpse of hope choked out by the ever growing sadness,
of the sea and me....
