screaming in a full-body cast

trapped
in perpetual agony
silently
I scream for morphine
click
click
click
that's my ration
barely numbs
the full-body achin'

death is what I truly want
so only I should take the brunt
of this endless anger
this seething rage
it's time to end this endless age

a bubble in my vein should do the trick
but I can't move enough
to touch my withered d*ck
frozen in a prone position
spouting lines of sick sedition

screaming at the T.V. screen
thrown up so much my puke is bile green
maybe I can choke on that
the vitals alarm barely brings them back

whatever happened to Kevorkian?
I'm already dead, stick a fork in
cannibalism would be an honor
forget it, I'm poison
don't even bother

 click
click
click
click
click
but nothing comes through
I wish I could move
to kill the respirator too

my window looks out
onto a roof
tracks in the snow
a cloven hoof

where have you been, Jesus?
my savior
he looks in and laughs
like he's doing a favor

at least the d*mn devil visits every night
at least he's around
at least alright

ensuring my place in the fiery hell
let's get this thing done with
can't you tell that I'm hopeless?
