scene from the island (part3)

We were ten thousand strong
but moved as of one mind.
worshiping a new messiah,
who spun a mystic beat;
the fullest moon bathed
us all,
in a symphony of light,
and the violins came sweeping in
to lubricate the night .
a collective breath was taken
we knew what was to start,
and on the exhalation we blew the place apart.
