Prelude: Amber is fossilized tree resin (not sap), which has been appreciated for its color and natural beauty. Typically used to retain an object, frequently insects, for extended periods of time. "Nature's Time Capsule"..
Chapter 1
A golden gemstone flickers dimly in shade
Paved the way for me to stalk-
Walk & talk my way through to your heart
Part of me wanted to move on but the light still shone
Lone wolves even find a pack for support & love
Above that, nothing pretty much
Such is the life of the introvert with lovestruck vertigo
Hurt to go away from you, & it took a while
Smiles displayed happiness so I kept my distance
Dissonance would spray if my sinful selfishness got to me
A lot of me had packed these emotions--
Oceans, with trenches deep
Seeping lost treasures of glory we once held
Smelled ripe till' the trails fell stale
Pale gemstones with latent power
Devouring time, so let's make up for it by the hour

Time is devoured, so let's make up for it by the hour
We're pale gemstones with latent power
Old trails were ripe, till they turned stale when we smelled
But seeping lost treasures of glory were what we held
Irreversible trenches deep, locked away in oceans
Wide bodies of water in our minds -- called emotions
My sinful selfishness got to me, a lot of me sprayed dissonance
Could I ruin your smiles of happiness? I couldn't so, I kept my distance
It all took a while & it really hurt to go
Such is the life of the introvert stuck with lovestruck vertigo
Nothing else lasts, pretty much, that is above
Even lone wolves like us need a pack of support & love
With a light like a beacon that still shone for me, it never part
I wouldn't be lost in the blind dark with ignition of spark
So, I journeyed down the road to your heart
The art of how I'd walk & talk,
Stalk the same roads we once paved
The golden gemstone gave brightness that stayed
In the end,
It was still there flickering dimly in the shade
Chapter 2
Memory banks grant thanks to her mind,
She's harnessed the ability of time's feel
Captured photos in capsules that bind,
& camera lens that rewind movies of past
Reels of yesterday display scenes that heal
Amber can't find what's real when nothing seems to last
Define erosion to divine steel,
When God's hand & her clock clash
Designed fate is set to reveal
When life's hourglass sits in seal
Images of defined future never seem to pass
Chapter 3
Amber is the watchmaker,
Calenders flow so volcanic
Will the blueprints of misery
Miss this mechanic?
She's trudging in isolation,
Fasting the plight of panic
Dark times rise as the moon lights,
Reflecting her becoming manic
Chapter 4
Like the intricate details,
On a slumbering snails' shells
You'll spin in splendid circles,
Before time's hard lesson tells,
Of your existences enigmatic worth,
And your end's chief eternity
The last of your breathe is birth,
When your problems cease in fraternity
