 Wrath by Professor Frost

He was born in melody only to get lost in dissonance
Torn between rifts of happiness & aggression, he couldn't distance it
Kevin use to be a happy child, not the angry man he is now to be known
They say mental deterioration starts at home where it is nurtured & grown

He arrived home from a day of school, he was only in 7th grade
His mother was a deep crack addict, the burden of stress weighed,
Down his image, he would rue the time of the bell as school was finished
It felt as if time had just relinquished him to a sanctuary where comfort diminished

It was eerie, cold & desolate on his block
The same feeling in alone in a small room without a clock
He slipped up the steps, the sky was gray, it began to rain
He looked to the door, why was it was open? His heart began to pour pain

His heart was beating irregularly, out of place & time
His small hand grasped the door's handle gingerly, hoping all was fine
But, he knew something was suspicious the moment he witnessed,
A pair of legs laying down behind the family couch, his stomach succumbed to sickness

He rushed to the back of the furniture & turned his mother's body over
The foam was streaming out of her mouth slowly, he knew God had stole her
The ambulance was called 20 minutes ago, still hadn't arrived
He roared in anger, he was vindictive, certain she should still be alive

The paramedics didn't arrive till an half of hour later
With his tears streaming he said,
"YOU BASTARDS TOOK YOUR TIME TO GET HERE, YOU COULD HAVE SAVED HER!"
Instead he prayed for her back every day, but unfortunately she was dead

 10 years till present

Kevin is now on DeathRow for 6 counts of 1st degree murder
 He'd tell his psychologist,
"My mother compelled my actions...in my head I heard her."
But to the rest of the world she didn't exist

This was his vengeance on God & society, when pain & anger had to clash
The wrath consumed his heart, the pace of hatred flowed through his blood too fast
The 6 victims were crack dealers, in Kevin's eyes this was revenge to the exact
But, why were the crack dealers dealing crack in the first place?
The reality is wrath consumes us all, we take actions defying the law due to bitter tastes
The world is a sinful place & life is full of tribulations which induce rage, that's for a fact
