Running Water

Slowly my mind is becoming like the running water
The problems slowly run stream that is beside me
I empty out into the big sea the wondering ocean
And yet my mind is never full not quite complete
Why must I always wonder will I get to the blue sea?
Changing paths I don’t know what to do for sure
Maybe the light and the sky will have me allure
But blues and violets, blacks and grey are the colors
That death will bring, and that death will sadly sing
The running water that flows can its way be right
Knowing water is always loose and never to tight
Never come to close, the violence it can hold
The dangers of this story will always be simply told
Running water that washes you white and clean
From the sin that holds you deep and you will lean
Aging again and again your life will soon be of alter
And than back to me and you will see the running water

I believe that there is a time for everything and some things can be expressed through poetry I come from a different family and things are different everywhere. I believe poems can be gateways into the mind, what we cannot say but wish to say it anyway so badly and so words change but the meaning will forever stay the same.I write as my hands allow me, word after word. Ink following the shadows of my paper begging me silently to write more. These are my poems. more…
