When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could dash
Like the Spotted Leopard I killed with a slash
When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could dance
Like the Spinning Otter I whirled in a trance
When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could jump
Like the Angora Hare I hopped every stump
When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could race
Like the Bengal Tiger I stalked till the chase
When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could fly
Like the Crocodile Bird I soared to blue sky
When I laced my running shoes
I suddenly could cope
Like the Arabic Horse I trained for each lope
