Riches of the heart

On the wings of true love I did fly
To dance on moonbeams in the sky
On my descent a rainbow
My fall it did slow
I slide down the colors and behold
A Leprechauns pot of gold
I pondered there awhile
then laughed and began to smile
The gold I did not take
my true love I could not forsake
so I went dancing on my way
Knowing our love was here to stay
For all the riches it was worth
my heart told me the truth
that all the riches it may hold
are in her heart not the pot of gold
