Rest in Peace

It was God's love that brought her to this earth
As we watched and she nurtured so many from birth
She blossomed into a woman with a pure golden heart
Her gentle smile brightened our world from the start

A daughter, mother, and friend she held us so dear
Memories of her yesterdays reflect in a pristine tear
We say our farewells to your spirit in heaven above
You are now forever blessed with God's eternal love

Linda D. Blakely

I was born in West Virginia and raised in Kentucky. I've been writing poetry since high school and have been in many poetry circles on the internet. I am known in these circles as the "legendarylinda". I have won contests, received medals and many other merits for my poetry. I would love to travel and see the world. My hero is Jesus Christ. I wish to dedicate this book to my parents and all my friends everywhere in the world. ~Peace Legendary Linda more…
