Repentance (Ke André's Prayer Poem To Jesus Christ)

I hardly ever do this
I am becoming more and more nervous
Because it is the first time in a long time
Speaking to you Jesus

At times I felt like you did not listen to me
As if my prayers were in vain
That is when I began to live my life freely
By denying your name

I saw Satan in human form
I have not revealed this to anyone
They all would dismiss me as crazy or out of the norm
But I know a demonic figure when I see one
He steals all of my energy
To where I can no longer function properly
Even then that is not enough for him
He wants to steal my eternal soul too
However I know what to do
And that is to call upon you

Jesus I have realized that I am a sinner like the rest of humanity
Since the day that apple was bitten by Adam and Eve
I ask that you please forgive me for all the people I trespassed
As well as give me the power to forgive those that trespassed against me
Man has been so malicious and wicked to me in the present and past
But it is only through your everlasting love that he will have inner peace

Christ I have demons!
They continuously try to lead me into sin!
They try to possess me
Oppress me
Repress me
Corrupt me
Emotionally bankrupt me
Spiritually amok me

Please cleanse me from the sin that is lust
It perverts my mind that sexual intercourse is always a must
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is chastity
Because the first thing I need in my life is purity

Please cleanse me from the sin that is gluttony
My biggest comfort has always been to eat excessively
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is temperance
So my diet can be one of prudence

Please cleanse me from the sin that is sloth
It crushes my spirit so severe that I don't care to have any persistence
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is diligence
For hard work is the one and only thing that improves performance

Please cleanse me from the sin that is envy
This discontentment of what is not given to me has made me so needy
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is kindness
So I will no longer become bitter and pursue happiness

Please cleanse me from the sin that is avarice
Forever persuading me that wealth is the way to freedom and perseverance
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is charity
Because loving-kindness is far more valuable than paper money

Please cleanse me from the sin that is wrath
My hostility only leads me down a self-destructive path
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is patience
It will fill my broken soul with mental and emotional endurance

Please cleanse me from the sin that is pride
This inflated sense of myself is something I can no longer hide
I ask that you grant me the virtue that is humility
So I can return to positively impact humanity

On that fateful day in Calvary
It was through your crucifixion that man noticed bravery
I know that same courage lies somewhere within me
The greatest reward is to walk with you for eternity

Satan keeps telling me that salvation is impossible!
But I know deep down that redemption is possible
Because your love is unbreakable

Jesus I have nothing else in my life
I have no one else in my life
Only you can show me to the Heavenly Father
But first I have to live my life right

Christ I need you to give me permanent peace of mind
There is no more escaping into fantasy
That demonic version of me is left behind
It is now time to face reality

The satanic corporate elite have been planning to wipe us all out!
Everyone that is not worthy to them
They think our lives are expendable
But with you behind us
Guiding us
Our souls will stay intact and remain bountiful

I ask that you please give me courage to the things I can change
Please give me serenity if things stay the same
Please give me the wisdom to differentiate
3 qualities I would so dearly appreciate

Christ I want to walk with you
I want to talk to you
Your innate loving-kindness will pull me through
I just hope non-believers will believe in you too

Thank you
Thank you for coming back into my life!
My body, heart, and mind were weak but have survived
My soul has been replenished and will now thrive
It is such a blessing to be alive
Thank you!

In your name and in your name only
Amen

Ke Andre Bell-Washington

(October 24th 2012 - March 8th 2013) The time frame in which I was a member on poetry.com. A website that consisted of poets, demonic trolls, and out-and-proud prejudice bigots. I have revealed all of the good, bad, ugly, and inner beautiful in equal doses in both myself and others. Because I did that, I am now loved and loathed by the entire community in equal doses. The best way to comprehend it is some people want to hear the ugly truth. Others would rather just stay asleep inside the matrix of mental slavery. I'm not going to describe my poetry here. I'd rather have my material speak for itself. With that being said, I want to thank the following people who were there for me as friends and those who are loyal dedicated supporters: Paul Harmon (my brother in Christ), Gareth Jones (my #1 fan), Mark Porter II, Willy J. Williamson, Becca Wedge, Shama Javkar, Joey Jones, Peter J. Brown, George Nosis, William Charles Schuler, Vladimir Bass, Michelle Borel, Jordan Goodwin, Dm Rumberger, Sara Irizarry, Donka Krsteva, Ashok Babu, Helema Jones, David Abraham, Nick Adegwe-Oshomah, Divya Nishant Ranote, William Hollingsworth, Maria Shaw, Norman Wilson, Tejinder Singh, TJ Hatton, Juliet Ligon, Gracey Sanders, Ging Alburo, Christina Peskowa, Dave Ratcliffe, Tom Kennedy, Isaac Rodriguez, Ahmad Al_khatat, Abid Saleem, Farida Amin, Taylor Rose, Roland Ediare, Sarah Spohn, Andreas Evangelos Vanezis, Debbie Krieger, Michael Gonzales, T.o. Differential, Wishu Sindhu, Paul Kurland, Jeff Shafer, Oliver Sherman, Elizabeth Winters, Dale Raymond, Lynette Mack, Saroj Khan, Frances Hime, Frank Chidsey, Andy Lyle, Kimberly Ertsgaard, Aryan Choudhary, Sandra Meadows, Faye Lee, Bong Herbert Guitang, Alice Morani, Donald London, Rosalie Hobbs, Euvela Higgins, Andre Smith, Marco DaJuan, Amegha Sahni, Karl Stuber, George Collett, George Meighi (better known as Haiku Artist), Sam Mac, Colleen Ruiz, Jon Otano, Wallace LaBenne, and Gabriel Mican. They all were the reasons that I stayed on this website 3 months longer than I was initially planning to retire. They kept my name alive with both their praise and constructive criticism. I will forever remember it!Of course, I want to thank all of my haters, the demonic trolls who thought they were torturing me with their two and single star reviews, and most of all, the now ''Eight Stalkers Of The Apocalypse'' (Richard ''The Pinocchio Poet'' Acevedo, Yvonne Sensing, Elizabeth R., Calvin Carter, Lee Canham [a.k.a ''Seven And A Half Sheeep And A Chickkken''], Clifton Redmond, Dana Moon [whose real name is Lyn Pi], and the newest stalker, Kristin Ell). I am specifically naming them because they all have either trolled on several of my poems, wrote hateful rants directly about me (and even posted some of them on my pages), made up false allegations against me, pretended to be a friend of mine (but was exposed as a duplicitous, narrow-minded follower), or have made racist and/or homophobic comments against me. In the case of the The Pinocchio Poet, he is a closeted Nazi. These people are wolves who will devour anyone for their personal pleasure, with the exception of Yvonne, Clifton, and Kristin. Those three are wolves in sheep's clothing. They are the most deceitful of them all. Watch it all unfold as you look at my poems one by one.Thank you all for reading this summary. I hope you it informed you, as well as entertained you. TAKE CARE AND GODSPEED!!! more…
