Renatus

Tears - pieces of my heart,
Loneliness they comfort.
Smiles I hope they'll bring,
When nights seem darkest!

Disdain - why do you linger?
Even when the hurt is gone,
It still tastes bitter,
Fruit of my pain, you are.

Agony – I have endured
But now I stand reborn.
For heavy was the burden,
That my gentle soul bore.
