Regrets part lll

Part ll - http://www.poetry.com/poems/579351-Regrets-part-ll-Edited-

There are times when we cry
For the place we fervently abide
As it's all a sorrowing rain
Over the remnants that remain
As I look at the place
Shattered, dispersed, expendable pieces
And try to find the trace
For the love that stays
With the people of this land
Trying to understand
The cause of the death
With every single breath
I am losing in the scene
I wish to wake up from the dream
Without the hopeful sun
And the peace won't return
In this painful mind
What are they trying to find
After these culpable homicides

Military, tanks and guns
I wonder what has become
Of a helpless stolen land
All that is left is sand
To fill our tired eyes
The devil's messengers in the skies
To take us to the God
As the general gives his nod
And turn a haven into nought

I trudge across the road
As a sailor on a sinking boat
It's futile to escape the water
And it's hard to witness the slaughter
Of my dreams and ideals
As the cruelty steals
All the warmth and peace
The gentleness that cease
And replaced by a vengeful agony

I will learn to live in the cold
The vengeful desire that I hold
Our ordeal will be told
As my plans will unfold
For now lie low and wait
For the best tool to retaliate
I will make them taste the same fate
Though I know all I will get
Is a never ending regret
