Reggie The Robot

Reggie is a robot, I bought him nice and new
He's a multi-task ro-butler series No 2,
You plug him in to charge him up
And then you tap the code,
He operates by multi-choice
So you just set the mode.
Reggies eyes flash fast and red
When his batteries low,
But when his eyes are glowing green
You know he's set to go.
He can do the house work feed the pets
And if they are sick he can call the vets,
Mow the lawn clean the pool
Weed the garden he can do it all.
But one day when I got home something was askew
And where was Reggie robot I didn't have a clue.
The fish from the pond were in the pool
And the cat was up the tree,
My nieghbour said she'd heard a splash
And it was Reggie she could see,
He'd fallen in the fish pond
Whilst pruning the cherry tree.
He was all wiggly wobbly
And his eyes were flashing red,
There were sparks flying every where
And steam puffing from his head.
I searched the house and garden
But he was no where's to be found,
Then as I made my way along the street
I herd a siren sound.
He was in the super market
He couldn't help im self,
The police were there to stop him
But he'd trashed most every shelve.
The police moved in they shut him down
Then took him far away from town,
My poor little robot Reggie
What have they done with him,
Somebody said they'd seen him
In a huge reycling bin.
