Reflection of Time! (Revised)

As I awaken slowly from acquired insight,
And the waken of keen thoughts at a foresight,
And as this frailing body, unsteady and unusually slow,
Has endured strength of labour and a few human soars,
And now that time has gone and withered by far,
Without regret, shall I sing with the larks?
And as to gather frugal energy before the long rest,
That this was a good life, indeed reminisce,
And that this amazing youth, not far long ago,
T'was a strong labour of living beyond strife and soul,
And now as to replenish that mind before steady sleep,
Memories of peaceful purpose as to safekeep,
As weakened limbs and age trembling hands,
And the tick tock of counted time, here on land,
And eyes that water and legs that shake,
Seems like yesterday in my wake,
A foot in the grave, I guess by now,
And the mirror reflecting a time gone by,
Tomorrow in my labour of duty to dust,
That mirror that stole my youth at dusk,
So that I may repeadly look and see,
A mirro reflecting a more youthful ME!
