I couldn't think or stay still
without a drink or a pill
but I got honest
I got open
Then I turned to God's will
And learned some new skills

seek the courage to change
it's lame to blame
sounds like a simple thing
but life's not a game
don't be insane
put your pride to the side
and let go of the shame

take notes and read them
learning leads to freedom
the monsters are there
but your a fool if you feed them
you got the tools to defeat them
you've made mistakes in the past
but you don't have to repeat them
