Rebels Against lllegitimacy

Through prostitution of usage
All words have become spurious.
We first raped their souls
Then we debouched them with gold,
What remains of meaning
In their hollow body
Which we peddle for sale.
I am at the crossroads of letters,
Brooding over the new bastards of meaning.
Though born in brothels
They will rebel against their illegitimacy.
And declining to pawn their character
They will become
Legitimate fathers of legitimate children.
