Rebellion is our salvation.

hysteria
yet no one bats an eye
for it doesn't begin to affect the civil rights of you and I.

The government response
we have no interest
let them rot, for their land has no profit,
and saving their lives will cost too much.

Palestinians cling to the vines
as Isrealis drink all the wine
barbed wire fences tear down defenses
as they dare to scream this land is mine.

Not so long ago
Iranians had equal rights
but dictators now control them
and they fight for their rights, for their life.

Egypt raised their voices
as horses became corpses
but still the world looks on
as the people rebel to feed their young.

Tunisians set the scene
they had an awesome dream
and Libyans closely followed
believing in their tomorrows.

How far should I step back
this is a brutal attack
and innocents are left to fight
to struggle for their human rights.

As governments declare
their right to put their soldiers there
to take away the rights
of those who fight for their life.
