Rearview Mirror

In the rearview mirror you can see the old
It is sometimes clearer
than events foretold

In the rearview mirror you can see behind
It is sometimes clearer
than a frontal kind

In the rearview mirror you can see the cue
It is sometimes clearer
than anything new

In the rearview mirror you can see the set
It is sometimes clearer
than a covered bet

In the rearview mirror you can see assault
It is sometimes clearer
than upshot penult

In the rearview mirror you can see the past
It is sometimes clearer
than a fine forecast
