Reaper

As the rain falls down on my street
The puddles slowly fills nearing my feet
There does my damp body lie
Shadows curiously pass me by
I clung to life as long as I could
The old fashioned way like in Hollywood
My deep breaths slow down
Then I see him-that foolish clown
My heart makes its final pound
For the grim reaper has found my resting ground
I close my eyes trying to hide
But the reaper seems to be the only one that knows I've died
