Realizations of Events Past

Standing in the shattered garden,
Not believing what's before me.
Each rose, so flawless in its attempt
To make it on its own.

Every white chrysanthemeum
Turns Grey into all time.
I realize what I thought to be radiance
Was really just your lust.
