Raindrops on the window

( this is written from a woman.s perspective

 RAINDROPS ON THE WINDOW

 raindrops on the window
like the tears in my eyes
 watching you leave me
 after we said our goodbyes

 listening to the thunder
 like the sounds of anger
 when we had that fight
about you going out with her

 the flame on the candle
like the fire in my heart
 struggling to stay alight
because our love is torn apart

 looking at the empty room
 like memories in my mind
 all messed up confusion
and you thinking i was blind

 love letters on the floor
 like our romance, untrue
 written with false loving
and now i sit here feeling blue

 raindrops on the window
like the tears in my eyes
 watching you drive away
 after we said our goodbyes
