Rainbow Returns Again

You
The brightest ray of light
Me
Facing the darkest night
Blue
Only color that reigned
See
Rainbow returns again

Is this real or just a hallucination?
A mirage resulting from deprivation?
Belief in love has been an alien concept
Ever since my trust was stabbed and left bereft
I was sure never to see love as true
Yet, when I look at you, somehow I do

You
Are an angel who showers joy
Me
I forget everything, enjoy
True
Tell me this is really true
We
Together forever me and you

Tell me this is really true
Together forever me and you
Love is eroding pain
Rainbow returns again
