Rain (revisited)

Light my room for me to see
A sad sinner's wicked glee
With a wish of death as he floats
In the sea which is stuck in his throat
Because of the place in the desert
That I defiled for my pleasure
For the worsening thirst
This bee has betrayed the flower's trust
Who poignantly cried
Because it reminds me of my plight
Of a family with continuous fights
Detached the child to a desolate life
That extruded bliss with her voice
Was a viable cause to rejoice
In the years of misery to grow
The prospective tree she sowed
That needed her rain
But she had inadequacies to complain
To incinerate what she gave
And drown me with a single wave
To make me cross the fire
For the riches she admired
With an accompanying desert
Too bland on the altar of her treasure
When there is sand to hurt my eyes
With the breeze to freeze me at night
That demands her solace
Which is spoiled by the gaze
Towards the trivial assets
From the women's congenital facets
Urge me to play this dirty game
For their nectar to retain
To thrive in the hardest days
And I will do it again and again
Till an angel showers the fulfilling rain
