Rageton

When you were young,
you were told,
everyone is created equally,
in grandiose schemes of things,
by higher powers up above,
the world is a place of villains,
and heroes of zeros,
you were told the world is yours to be made,
promising a better tomorrow,
riding the wishing stars,
to have and to hold,
searching for a brand new  world,
well I am sick and tired,
hoping for vagabonds,
lost my mind,
lost all of my money,
lost all control,
with my back up against the wall,
day by day,
lost in the bottomless promises,
drowning in sorrows,
I am not the one to just let it go,
I am getting older,
ragging fires die out,
my blood running colder,
the world is full of heroes and zeroes,
you better watch out,
cause if you keep this up,
night after night with rageton,
barely holding on,
or you end up killing,
someone near and dear.
