Puppets and Puppeteers

Ppl talk to you,
without ever meeting you.
They call you friend,
but they dont know you.

We are all puppeteers,
hiding behind a veil of our own making.
We dance our puppets around.
They have smiles on their faces.
We pull some strings,
and they come to life.
They take our place.

But i treasure meeting ppl.
Ppl are beautiful.
Their stories open our minds.
They open our eyes,
and break our limited views.
Its amazing, but frightening,
at the same time.

I dislike talking to puppets.
But i understand why we have them.

Ignorance is bliss.
Its a pointless bliss.

I have a puppet too.
Its very simple.
Quiet.
His name is eduard.
He likes art.
He doesnt like to talk much.
He’s smart.
He’s a nobody.

Problem is,
ppl dont like that.
They want to be entertained.

Thats why i dont care much for crowds,
or groups.
They are just a convention of puppets.
And you know what?
I dont feel like joining a show.

Im not much for extravagant acting.

Im sorry,
but id rather live a life without illusions..
