Psychosis

Eyes, black and void,
dead surface that doesn't reflect the storm,
torrent of emotions repressed,
pounding reinforced walls of an amaranthine heart,
no outlets to provide release,
the pressure wears on this fortress,
cracking the solitude of an impregnable mind,
madness seeps in.
