Promise Me

Tonight, I'll let my tears shed to release my fears.
I'm weak inside but I'll wear strength like a gear.
No one will see how I'm trembling to my knees.
A stronger force is what I need in times like these.

Tomorrow, I'll go on with the prayers I prayed last night.
Words are unclear for nervousness can't be handled right.
The next day, I know it'll be better because of trust.
I asked You to promise me, to keep it is a must.

I find consolation in Your Eyes which I believe in.
You are Mother too, Mother Mary, You understand me.
I know everything will be alright, it's just me being a daughter
that my heart is uneasy, my hands are cold, they shiver.

We will be okay, I'm sorry
if I asked You to promise me.
You Promised me it'll be okay
and so I know it's gonna be okay..

I believe You, Mother Mary.
You always interceded for me.
You have my heart in Your Hands.
I'm a daughter, I know You understand.
