Prince Charming

Juliette Aurora 1997 (USA)

Dreams are the wishes my heart keeps near;
Sincere desires I hold very dear;
I grew up believing true love is the key
to being happy eternally;
Cinderella's success was etched in my mind;
No greater slipper would I ever find
than my own prince charming in leather and tights;
He'd choose me to dance and keep me from flight;
We'd ride in a carriage to a home shaded with trees,
a beautiful landscape, and an endless breeze;
We'd wake to the sounds of the mandolin and harp
playing our song as we eat berry tarts;
As unrealistic as it might seem,
I put all my faith in that simple dream;
On the day we met, and every day since,
I've found in you the charms of a prince;
We've shared true love and wholesome laughter;
I'm definitely living "happily ever after";
Waking each morning with your smile in view
has been the sweetest "dream come true!"
