Predestinate

I was standing at the shore
 watching over the sea
 waiting for my husband
 to find his way back to me

We said goodby over three years ago
 nobody had heard from him since
every day I said a prayer
 and hope was all there is

 One day I felt on my knees
and asked Him will you please
help me bring him back
 bring him back to me

 Within a month someone
 came knocking at my door
I opened up and saw a man
though was not really sure

 When he said my name
I looked him in the eye
 what seemed an impossibility
 worked out just fine
