Poet stands still..

Shantanu Chindhade

Aspiring poet on a bus stop
Sky was grey and dismal
Dried up lawns
Crispy grass crumbled..
I was passing by
Cramps in my legs
Stray birds floating
Lonely river banks
Shadows too lengthening
Pine,willows swaying
Sombre mood
Silent woods
Our poet stands still..
A poem lingers around..
Our poet stands still...!
