Please Remember
Maybe if I remember,
if I promise I won’t forget,
the set time will pass,
fast and light
without a dim recollection
of my blight.
It’s me, not you
who is the one of worry,
for my doubt scurries
all through my thoughtful mind.
Until you return
and stir my love anew,
I suppose I’ll be without you
as I delve into religion too.
