A million pigeons
From the dark.
Diseased and mean,
Pecking and lean.

Don't screw with them,
Those flying rats,
They'll mess you up
With baseball bats.

Beady little eyes
to make beady little schemes.
Hot dog vendors?
They weren't ever contenders.

All the humans gone
Is their only agenda.
Old folks are fine, they coo:
They're too difficult to chew.

Five million pigeons
Flying out from the dark.
Sleep well, now, son,
The war has just begun.
