Pictured In Verse

In your eyes I see a yearning look,
Hence the reason for this memory book,
Time plays tricks it mellows us all,
Who is around when teardrops fall?
Love is stronger that a living tree,
Taking you further than the eye can see.
It will survive where man cannot,
God's greatest gift the best he's got,
Dreams are special but can't match a kiss,
Nor replace a loved one we sadly miss.
Months become years but what is time?
Simply a creation of God's design,
Through this medium we consider it's span,
What of the future and our life-span?
Feel the warmth of the morning sun,
Study the skies when day is done.
Check out rainbows how colourful and bright,
Follow the moon and stars at night,
Then look within and search your soul,
A clear conscience makes a person whole.

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
